"My first show with WCT had a cast ranging in age from 7 to 72 and included students, homemakers, and professionals from all walks of life. Later, I saw how people who face physical and/or mental challenges were also included and embraced as part of the WCT family. I find this inclusiveness and mirroring of our local community an area where WCT excels providing a place that is home to anyone wanting to be involved."

Kudos to Wausau Community Theater's production of "Fiddler on the Roof". This timeless show is a must see. The cast has stellar performers, with amazing voices in all the leading roles. The set designs are kept simple but warm, allowing seamless and short set changes. Thank you for an amazing "Lively Arts" experience!

"As we got home last night I had the privilege of sitting with a young man excited about his future. He discussed how auditioning for WCT and being cast has brought him friendships and has made him feel as if has a place...a place to express himself without judgement, a place he feels he is loved. As parents, you all have my husband's and my utmost respect. We have seen our son grow by leaps and bounds with every production. WCT has brought happiness into our lives and restored that piece our son was missing. We cannot thank you enough. You all are tremendous role models for the youth. The Arts are so important for so many reasons. Thank you for keeping it alive in such a positive and profound way."

“There was a very difficult time in my life when I did not want to go out and do things. My shyness grew from a lack of confidence and a fear of judgment, but then I took a chance and auditioned for THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK. WCT gave me a chance to constructively release the anger and pain that I had been struggling with for a long time. Then I participated in OKLAHOMA where I grew more confident with myself and started to realize my true potential.”
