One of the primary reasons WCT exists is to offer anyone interested, the opportunity to participate in the arts. Experience is not necessary. It's our privilege to help individuals get their feet wet or even reach their theatrical potential.

The information in this section will help you take the next step to become involved in at least one of the MANY divisions of the organization.

Board Of Directors

Our Board Of Directors is comprised of volunteers from around the community who have been nominated by a current board member and then voted on. Board members may serve up to two consecutive three year terms. Board meetings are the fourth Wednesday of each month at the WCT Building. Board meeting minutes are available for WCT members to review at the office. The Board is responsible for the direction of the organization by making choices on issues of finance, productions, and community awareness / involvement.

Committees and Task Forces

It takes a lot of work to keep Wausau Community Theatre running. We're very lucky to have a hard core group of volunteers who put in the time outside of our productions to help make the decisions that make WCT a success.

But we're always looking for new ideas and different viewpoints to keep the organization moving in a variety of exciting directions. We'd love to have you on board to provide input.
