An established core of contributed income will help ensure Wausau Community Theatre’s fiscal soundness, ensuring high quality, live theater at affordable prices. Wausau Community Theatre is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation; your donations are tax deductible. Who benefits from Wausau Community Theatre? You do! Along with everyone who has attended WCT performances, from school children to grandparents. Why is Wausau Community Theatre important? Wausau Community Theatre helps keep The Arts a vital and important part of the community. We offer volunteer opportunities both onstage and behind the scenes to anyone with a desire to participate. WCT also offers the opportunity to enjoy The Arts by offering productions that range from pure comedy, to lavish musicals, to thought-provoking, emotionally moving performances. WCT adds to the economy by drawing people to the Wausau area where they shop, dine and socialize both before and after our performances. This can only be done with the community’s financial support, since admissions covers just over half of our budgeted expenses.
